A Sympathizer to My Cause

Ha! Di lang ak nakahanap ng kakampi, pero lalaki pa! Meron pa palang lalaki gamer na di naglalaro ng Ragnarok?!?! Ayan basahin niyo ang angas nya about Ragnarok.

Some quotable quotes from his entry:

some of the players were still undergraduates and were obviously cutting their classes "para lang makapagpalevel-up at makakuha ng items."

Hmm... sound's familiar....

Eto pa...

when i came back i was confronted by the INet cafe's patron because some players were lagging and one ragnarok player told that the kazaa opened in my computer was the reason for the lag. "BAWAL DAW MAGDOWNLOAD".

Peste. Kaya nahuhuli nako sa mga mp3 and video downloads ko eh. Lech.

To explain the bot....

They also acquired this "ragna-bot" thingie which has a simple interface and this software automatically "creeps" and "loots" for them, or simply "plays" for them which is obviously illegal.

Gusto ko na ngang isumbong si Dar eh! Everytime he goes home or wakes up, that's the first thing he checks on. Not me, or Darice (maybe a perfunctory kiss for Darice), but his precious Ragnarok bot. Leche!

Eto ang the best...

E sa araw2 ba naman na marinig ko yan imposible naman na i-block ko yung mga conversations ng mga tao from my ears as they talk about this ragnarok bullcrap. So what am i trying to say here? Im saying that this ragnarok thingie, little by little, is ruining lives, real people's lives and not some imaginary character made up of 1's and 0's.

Yep. Hard to believe pero it's certainly ruining our relationship. Sira na nga kami, unti-unti pa lang gumagaling, eto at naghanap pa sya ng ibang bagay (well, dati babae) to come between us. Ang masama pa don, hindi naman sya torn between Ragnarok and me eh (tulad ng dati, di rin naman sya torn between the bitch and me)...

His choice before was the girl and to hurt me, and his choice today is to play Ragnarok and ignore me.

Barkada Night

Kape: Cappuccino from Mocha Blends

Because of the horrendous traffic jam I experienced last night, I decided not to go out with my high school friends kanina. Also, Dar had basketball gimik with his twopa, so I was also a bit hesitant to leave Darice alone with her Tita EJ and Lala.

Around 5 in the afternoon, Indo sent a mass text message asking to confirm our attendance. Therefore, I sent her a message saying I was sick and I wouldn't be able to make it.

After dinner, I was feeling relatively better, so I sent a regretful message to Indo saying sana nakasama ako sa inyo. She replied, telling me that they were in Eastwood. She asked susunod ka ba? I told her, di na. dar left. walang kasama si darice.

Around 10 in the evening, I received a message from Chris, puntahan ka namin ok lang?.

Then she called me up a few seconds later. Sunduin ka namin. Kape tayo.

I immediately agreed. Mocha Blends is just a few seconds away from our subdivision. I told Dar's mom that I was going out for an hour, that my friends were gonna pick me up, that we were just going to get some coffee at Mocha Blends, and that I'll be leaving Darice with her. She agreed, sige, sige, nagpaalam ka na kay darius? akong bahala kay darice.

After ten thousand years, they were still not here to pick me up. Darice was being dramatic again, mama, dito lang ka. She was crying, clinging to me. And so I sent Indo a message, san na kayo? ayaw nako paalisin ni darice sayang nakabihis nako hehehe.

They arrived around past 11 (They came from Eastwood! What took them so long?!?), and I told them that maybe we could just hang out at the veranda. They hovered over Darice, making friends with her, trying to convince her to let her Mama go.

Darice did agree to let me go with them for coffee.

Only if she was going with us.

Which was perfect with my friends, because they were absolutely smitten with her.

"Parang Ya-ya sisterhood, kasama yung anak gumimik" said Anamaine.

When we arrived at Mocha Blends, we did get a few stares, since it was almost 12 and we had a 4 year old kid with us. We decided to just buy some coffee and cake and cookies then go back to the house. We did know a four year old kid was with us hehehe.

So we headed back to the house. Darice was absolutely enamored with Anamaine and her P900. She stayed by Anamaine's side the whole time.

Best laugh brought to us by Andrea: "1 gig na yon! Dalawang 512!". Er, hello?!?!

Whew, they left just a few minutes ago.

Still glowing.

Can't believe that my high school friends went all the way to the house to see me (and Darice)!

^_^

Overdrive

I just got home.

Four hours.

From Ortigas to Marcos Highway.

A flat tire just pass Cinco Hermanos.

An L-300 Versa Van from heaven to the rescue.

Hot as hell as it crawled along Marcos Highway.

So hungry.

Throbbing headache.

Falling asleep, waking up a few minutes later, the same car outside from an hour ago.

Texting Dar every hour, asking him if he's still stuck in Katipunan.

"Miriam" then "Ateneo" then "Sakayan ng Katips sa ilalim ng tulay"

Throngs of people walking in all directions.

Fellow passengers losing hope and just leaving the van.

Closed intersections now open to traffic.

Frustrated MMDA.

Should I just walk from Sta. Lucia to our gate?

Burger King... so near... yet so far.

And then...

"Para ho sa tabi..."

And then, I'm home.

Thank God.

CSI Hullaballoo

From being fired, and their boss standing firm, I never thought Jorja Fox and George Eads would ever grace a CSI episode again.

Good thing, things have cleared up and they're back on the show

-----------------------

CSI's season ender won't make sense if ever Sara and Nick suddenly just left. Nick just got almost-promoted in the episode before the season ender! Sara got into trouble in the season finale so that should mean a story line for her in season five!

Oh well, at least Greg is a sure show in season five. Grissom said he'll be out in the field when Greg gets someone to replace him in the lab. *drool* Kakaiba kasi pag si Greg nasa field! Hehehe ^_^ Ang guwapo nya maghanap ng evidence!

Excited na'ko sa CSI season five!

Absolute Gluttony!

This week has been all about food, food, and more food.

Monday

Twas my sister's birthday, so we went to my family's house for dinner. Since I only get to eat my Mom's cooking every once in a while, I really pigged out on the pasta and chicken. *burp* Had enough space for some buko pandan cake too. *yummy*

Tuesday

Jollibee breakfast with MMS team. Twas free, coz we used up the late funds.

And pandesal with Miss Mach's egg sandwich spread. Kakaiba talaga ang egg sandwich spread ni Miss Mach. Mommy Shaws said it must be the salt hehehe ^_^

Wednesday

Mommy Shaws and Love's birthday blowout. Had lots of food delivered from North Park. *yummy* Pigged out on the garlic squid and yang chao.

For the afternoon break, had delicous blueberry cake delivered from Jack's Loft. (Sabi ni MJ, di na daw nya alam ang lasa ng mga cake sa Red Ribbon and Goldilock's) God, the cake was so sinful. I am absolutely going to try the New York Cheesecake from Jack's Loft.

Thursday

MMS blow-out lunch out for Jing (she was going to leave the next day) at Mr. Choi's in Galleria. Yummy chinese food (again) and I absolutely devoured their version of spicy garlic squid. (Lalong masarap kasi subsidized ng mga big bosses, so we only had to pay 30 bux each hehehe)

Friday

Ultimate gluttony to the max.

Lunch out with my office batch mates at Lola Idang's. Twas for welcoming Marjay to the group. God, so many food - kare-kare, sinigang, crispy pata *drool* and crispy chicken.

Then for the break, Jing and Malen sponsored our merienda: Yellow Cab pizza, Red Ribbon spaghetti and cake from somewhere in Eastwood (aaargh! Can't remember the place!) Di ko na pinatulan yung spaghetti, di na talaga kaya ng powers ko. Well, I did have two slices of pizza and some cake (which I ate like I was being tortured to finish it!).

-----------------

I never thought I could eat so many food in one week! I think I gained almost 10 pounds this week!

Diet na ito!

Fake

Yosi: tons
Kape: as usual, tons

Sinabihan ko si Dar na fake sya.

Nagpapakalambing na naman kasi. Right after he asked me to do his thesis. Bleh.

I hate it when he does that. It's so obvious that he's just being sweet because he wants me to do something for him. He's always like that. He's only malambing when he wants something from me (it's either sex, service, or both).

Kainis.

So fake.

I refused his lambing kasi. And he asked me what was my problem. So I told him.

"Ang fake mo kasi"

I can't believe na sinabi ko yon. I can't believe na nasabi ko na rin yon at last.

Masama ba ako? Masama ba na ganon naramdaman ko? Eh ganon talaga kasi yung dating sakin eh. I felt it was not a sincere showing of his affections. I felt that he did that so that he can get his way. So that I'd do what he wanted me to do. So that I'd think, "Nilalambing naman nya ako eh. Sige na nga, gawin ko na gusto nya.

Which is usually what happens.

Of which I am so sick and tired of doing.

And so I said it.

"Ang fake mo kasi"

Ang sarap ng feeling na nasabi ko yon.

Addict na ako sa Queer Eye for the Straight Guy!

Just this weekend, I discovered that our cable company just included the Entertainment Central to their channel line-up. About time! Everybody in the office has been talking about A Simple Life and Queer Eye, and I felt so not in!

And now, I am so hooked on that channel! Dar said, "Wala na ba tayong ibang channel na panonoorin? Hahahah! Almost forgot about my other favorite channel, Lifestyle Network!

Oh well, good thing there's a remote, so I can switch while I'm watching Area and Queer Eye!

Toodles! I'm off to watch Queer Eye!

But, first, here's my Queer Eye quiz results. Blech... I wanted to be Jai!

Heart to Heart Talk with Mommy

Yosi: 6-ish
Kape: around 2? nah... maybe 3

(Hehehe... not my mom. With our project manager. The team fondly calls her mommy...)

Today, we got a new officemate. He was the one who replaced Eric, who will be migrating to Australia a few weeks from now. My god, he's TALL. The new officemate, that is. He's from La Salle, an ECE graduate. God, he's TALL. (Am I so fixated on his tallness?)

For lunch, the all went out, except for me, since I always bring my lunch. After my yosi break with Yayie, I found that Mommy didn't go out for lunch, so I ended up eating with her at the conference table. (I always avoid her, since I really don't know what to say to her! =S )

That when she asked me if she knew who were leaving the office a few weeks from now. Since my rowmates have (secretly) informed of this and asked not to tell a soul, but since it was Mommy asking, I said yes, I knew there were three persons who will be leaving the office. She didn't seem to mind that I knew. Whew.

Anyways, she talked of her plans for our team, and for me in particular. She said she might be transferring me to another module, after the minor enhancement my team leader and I are working on. This is because *another* office person, who is working for that module, is asking to be reassigned to another project. So I'll be trained to take his place (well not literally take his place, somebody else will take his place and then I will take that somebody's place, gets?).

I'm very excited with the turn of events, although a bit worried. Excited because I'm learning so much already, and I've been doing so many things already; things are always looking up. A bit worried because two team leaders will be leaving, then two newbies will be replacing them... It will be just Mommy, the remaining two team leaders, and all of us newbies...

Haaay. Kawawa naman si Mommy.
