So, we had our 70's-inspired company Christmas party last week.
Guess who won Ms. Disco Queen? :P

I would like to thank Bayo for my top, Dorothy Perkins for my jeans, my platform wedges from Mendrez, my gold necklace from Girlshoppe, big hoop earrings c/o my kris kringle daddy Jap and scarf/headband thingie from 168 mall. :P
Well, aside from the "look", we needed to show the 70's vibe, so there was this lame question-and-answer portion. For the guys, the question was "What is the relevance of bell-bottoms this holiday season?" or something like that. For us girls, it was "Why are you more than a woman?", obviously inspired by the Bee Gees hit More Than A Woman.
And my beauty-pageant answer? :D

Blogging for Money
Yup, I've jumped the shark.
First it was the Google Ads. But I took it out also because, first I have no idea where to put them to generate enough money, and second, well, my blog's not that popular either so who the hell will click on those ads right?
So I took them out Google Ads.
And now, I'm trying out Blogvertise. Thanks to Aggie for the link, galing mong maghanap ng sideline mare ;)

I think it was December last year when I used the Kubrick template from Blogger-templates. Wow. I was able to stick with that layout for one year. Kewl.

Hmmm.
I guess some of us already got our 13th month pay last pay day. Dar was luckier because he also got his leave conversion. Kaya pala ang guwapo niya nung weekend, marami pala kasi syang pera wehehehehehe.
Where oh where doI we get to spend all of his our hard-earned 13th month pay?
First stop, the great Bulacan warehouse sale.
I first heard about this sale from Anton last August. Anton gave me an invite, but I wasn't able to go because of ... ah, now I remember, that was the weekend that inspired this post so olats, hehe.
Anyhoo, Dar texted me last Saturday asking me if I wanted to go to Bulacan for a warehouse sale -- his officemate wanted to go kasi. *roll eyes* I also asked him last August if he wanted to go to Bulacan for the sale but his response was his usual "Ang layo". Okay, so bridge under the water, ay mali, water under the bridge pala hahahaha. So fine, let's go to Bulacan.
Unfortunately, it was already the last day of the sale so there weren't that many styles and sizes to choose from. Or maybe that was fortunate, because we don't want blowing all our money here right? I was able to buy 6 tops (5 of which were Mango, na sana hindi fake kasi 300 bucks isa so kung fake yun napa-mahal ako :P) and a cool big purple bag. Dar was able to buy ... none :P Hehehe.
Pero babawi ang asawa ko. Hehehe.
From Bulacan, we went to Megamall because he wanted to browse around in Cyberzone. We entered Complink... then came home with this:

Sabi nga naman nila, the only thing constant is change, and totoo nga. Parang minsan nga lang, ang hirap maka-cope-up and feeling ko nahuhuli nako.

Okay, so tried frisbee finally last Thursday after work (kahit na may impending Reming on its way).
I suck at backhand, although Gli and Tito Rob (nakiki-Tito na rin hehehe, pero sya yung instructor namin nung practice) say na exponentially increasing ang husay ko sa forehand. Naks. Haha.
And, amazingly, nakaka-catch naman ako ng frisbee! May pasa nga lang ako sa arm and sa thumb ko dahil don.
Ang matinding problema na lang is running while trying to catch the frisbee. No, make that running lang talaga. Patay ang baga ko neto pag game. Aside from the yosi smoke I inhale everyday, meron pang *pweh* dust sa field. Ang usok!!! Lalo na nung Thursday, maya-maya nagkaka-"sand storm". Ang alikabok!

I have to bring out the whip ata.
