This was the template I started with for the new look of my blog. The template had three images: the header image, the footer image, the background image, and the blog body image. Since I wasn't really very particular about the color blue, I decided to change the colors to shades of purple, and of course changed the header to an image I can call my own.

I was reviewing Darice for a test in CLE (Christian Living Education). The topic was, I think, "We are special because of God's love" [insert praise music here].
There was a part there about families, and each family being special.
And so I asked her, "Darice, what makes Papa special?"
"Hmmm... that he always gets mad?"
What the? I called D over and asked Darice the same question and she answered: "He always gets mad?"
I smirked at D, and he faced Darice, "Do I always get mad?"
Darice looked down. "I don't like it when you get mad eh", she said in a quiet voice.
"And I don't like it when you get mad at Mama and then Mama cries."

Betty The Ugly
Okay, okay, I admit it. I used to watch the Tagalized version of Betty La Fea on GMA Channel 7. I could always relate to the ugly duckling fairy tale [because I believed I was the "ugliest" of us tres marias -- oops, hanggang ngayon pa rin ata?!? :P] and the adventures of the smart and hardworking Betty la fea (which translates to Betty the ugly) finding her one true love in the world of fashion made it a show I would look forward to watching while I eat my lunch. [Hahha, tanda ko pa, bago mag-Eat Bulaga yon eh!]
[I could write something about my "struggle" to feel "pretty", and to be noticed for my looks, but I think I've made my peace with that. And I think I am more beautiful than my sisters >:D Though I could I admit they are prettier and cuter. And there's a BIG difference with being beautiful and pretty ha, in my honest opinion, haha!]

I'll be meeting up with my old college lab-mates and my ex-adviser-now-ninang-sa-kasal. Exciting! It's been a loooong time since we all met up. I think it was June of last year the last time we had dinner together. And yes, guest of honor again is Ramil. Haha!

Tomorrow naman is a high-school friend's bridal shower at Gloss Nails.
Yahoo! Excited nako magpa-pedicure! Hahahah!
Aaaaand, wala pa akong bridal shower gift. I don't know if I'll give a nightie set (discreetly sexy) or KY Jelly (subtly naughty), hahahahahhaha!

Pagpasensyahan ang pagda-drama sapagkat nakaramdam na naman ng poot at galit at dismaya. Nadurog na naman ang puso ko. Hindi na nakakapanibago, pero hindi ko pa rin kasi nakasanayan. Sapagkat laging andun ang pag-asa ko na hindi na uli ganon ang kakahinatnan, kahit sabihin ko sa sarili ko ng paulit-ulit na parang isang dasal na hindi na'ko aasa pang muli (sino palang OPM band ang kumanta nito uli? -- ayan, may sense of humor pa naman ako).
Minsan, gusto ko lang maramdaman ko siya. Maibigay rin niya kahit kaunti ang naiibigay ko sa kanya. Kahit na alam kong wala ito sa katauhan niya, sapagkat siya ay parang bato kung ikukumpara sakin na parang mamon. At minsan ako'y kulang lang talaga sa pansin.

One Last Hurrah for Summer
If you want to just relax and chill for a day or two, with the sound of the waves in your ears, salty breeze embracing you, and the sun giving you the most incredible tan lines, then head on over to Baler, Aurora.
Just be prepared for the two to three hours of rough road. Ouch!
After a night of margaritas and coffee, me and the girls boarded the 4:00 am bus to Baler at the bus station in Taft. Since I had my share of margaritas and cigs for the night, I already had my eyes closed way before the bus started the journey. [I didn't even know then if we took the SLEX or NLEX!]

Early Morning Randomness
I felt extremely alone while I was watching the crossover episodes of CSI Miami and CSI New York last night [although I've already watched it last year pa ata because of downloaded copies]. Dar was busy with the PSP playing NBA Live 2006 while Darice was busy with NickJr playing Dora the Explorer games.
Oh well, we were busy doing our own things naman.
Maybe I just wanted a warm body to cuddle up with while I was watching my favorite shows.

We first met April of last year. I was floored by its 4gig capacity and 2MP camera. Back then, I didn't have an MP3 player and a digicam. That's why I felt it was sooooo perfect for me then.
Then I got a digicam and an iPod. Kelangan ko pa ba sya?
And then this sashayed in and screamed to be noticed. The only thing I took notice of was its Wi-Fi capabilities.

D-Day
It was my dear husband's birthday last Sunday, and so I got the creative juice flowing and made a digiscrap layout for him. Unfortunately, Photoshop was going bonkers because of low [hard-disk space] memory, that's why I only got to finish the layout this morning.
But that's not the only thing I did for hubby for his birthday ;)
Since hubby was turning 26 years old, I thought of 26 gifts to give him for his birthday. [Inspired by a Valentine's gimik by a friend ;]
Allow Me To Have A Cheeze-Whiz Moment
8 years ago, I met my husband beside the Engineering Building in UP Diliman.
He was wearing a Banana Republic shirt. [Alam nyo yung mga Banana Rep shirts na nagkalat noon, na parang lahat ng tao noon ganon yung suot, iba-iba nga lang yung kulay? Hehehe.]
I had with me Marlboro Menthol Reds. Flip-top. Nabili ko kay Manang Carmen.
He was waiting for somebody. Kaya sya nakatambay sa labas.
I was ineligible to enrol then. Turned out that my "jacket" [all the pertinent school records - Form 5's, class cards, etc.] was missing. I was on my way to the Eng'g building to find out what happened to my records.
And with me that day was a blockmate who was his elementary schoolmate.
And so they saw each other. Said their hi's and hello's.
And then we got introduced.
Did sparks fly? Did time stop? Did I hear swelling dramatic music as our eyes met?
Hehe. Sa pelikula lang 'yan nangyayari noh! :P
Pero... hmmm... basahin nyo 'to.
There may be no sparks, but he definitely made an impression ;)

Ilang taon na lang, magiging teenager na sya tapos 'di na nya ako papansin. Haaay. Kaya minsan, kahit pagod, or kahit merong kelangan gawin, papansinin at papansinin ko ang kakulitan ng anak ko. Kasi, pag tumanda na sya, malamang ako na ang mangungulit sa kanya.
