Trenta, Part 2: The Get-To-It List

Turning 30 this year is such a fuckin' big deal.

I don't know if it's just me or my friends or Darice (who once told me that when I turn 30, that's when I'm officially old LOL) but turning the big 3-0 is such a major turning point in life. I can't help it but I look back on my 20's and realize OMFG what have I done, and look forward to my 40's and panic OMFG what will I do next?

And add the fact that my birthday falls on the first month of the year (and on this, year, a new decade!), when New Year's resolutions and goals and plans are being mapped out, and I'm WTF do I do this year? This decade? This life?

Well, no, not really, LOL, but I do have several plans and goals this year, which is making me pretty excited about the year 2010 and turning 30.

Trenta, Part 1: Birthday Wish-Ko-Lang List

Yeah, so I'm turning the big 3-0 this year. No big party or whatever. Well, make that no plans yet at all, as the big 3-0 falls on a Sunday, and I really don't feel like partying it up when the next day is a work day. The most important thing is to spend it with Darice and my family so definitely I will be with them on that day :)

And yeah, well I'm still crossing my fingers for a surprise party LOL.

And for these:

So it's been a year.

365 days ago, I spent one last night with my husband, and then we went our separate ways.

Well, as separate as we can, because we do have Darice. And "sharing custody" presented a few problems along the way (mainly because of him, aminado naman siya in fairness) but I think we're better now.

I feel so much better, as a matter of fact :)

And I wouldn't be where I am now (chos, parang award ba itu?) if not for my family and friends. Thank you for the out-of-town and shopping trips, the pig-outs and drinking nights, the coffee dates and yosi breaks. Thank you for the phone calls, the texts, the emails, the @replies, the DMs, the offline messages. Thank you thank you thank you.

And I apologize for the lack of updates! I have been distracted by real life, Kris Allen, work, Tumblr, Twitter, and Facebook that I couldn't find time to blog anymore :( Also, the stories I could've blogged about that required more than 140 characters are those stuff that will make me look bitter-bitteran, or I'll write in a passive-aggressive way, so diba, wag na lang?

So that's it pancit for now. I'll take this slow for now while I go back to the groove of blogging again.

Toodles!
